Ball shredder.

Honestly I really did look at a lot of wedges and just like the DN2 mallet putter I bought a while back I could not honestly say that the expensive product looked, felt, or performed any better. That said I am happy to report that I am more than happy with this wedge. Yardage is consistantly on, ball stops on a dime or backs up with full shot, ball checks on short chips. The thing shreds any ball with a good strike too. So that's 2 out of 3 really good products i've gotten (Acuity). I once bought a 3w for $15 to replace one I broke and it is a piece, but the wedge and putter are way beyond worth the $30 a piece I paid for them.

Hey, I notice you have the BB 83 in a xls. I was just looking at something similar. What's the verdict on that shaft? Low, boring flight? Stable even when ya jump on it?

It's Mid-high launch and responds great weather your swinging smooth or trying to kill one, Best shaft I've ever used! However, if you want lower flight then take a look at the WhiteBoard.

A shredding indicates that the ball slid over the face instead of being caught, and energy was consumed in destroying the ball instead of imparting spin. If you ever are doing it every time, then you actually need a wedge with less aggressive grooves.
Y*ungun5 said: Love the combo. gives me a mid-high flight. The shaft reacts great to smooth swings, or if I take a lash at it, it'll kick back as well. Head is the easiest to hit of any I've tried. Forgiving, Long, and accurate. Maybe not the greatest sound/feel/workability, but it works great for me. I play a baby-fade with it, and it is almost impossible to hit one terribly.
